Myers Angus Farm

About Us

Myers Angus Farm is a family owned & operated purebred Angus farm in the Bluegrass region of central Kentucky. The farm is located 30 miles southwest of Lexington and within an hour and a half of Lexington, Louisville, and Elizabethtown.

Three generations of our family have been actively involved in the Angus business since the farm began in 1972. The goal of our operation is to produce functional cattle that excel in both phenotype and genotype. Our herd consists of 70+ females that represent some of the breed's premier cow families, as well as families that have been developed in our program for decades. For over 25 years we have exclusively utilized artificial insemination to build reliability into pedigrees and fertility into the cow base. We quickly adopted DNA technology and many of our cattle have multiple genomic-tested generations.

Our female sale will be held at the farm on October 21, 2022 in conjunction with Tamme Valley Farm. The bulls are marketed each spring on the 2nd Saturday in March through an annual bull sale with Boyd Beef Cattle in Mays Lick, Kentucky. Females, bulls, and embryos are also available throughout the year private treaty.
